The AP Language and Composition Course is a College Board accredited class that is meant to develop students into college level writers. An emphasis will be placed on writing essays within many different genres and structures, while also focusing on rhetorical techniques and strategies that writers use to produce a desired effect. Students will be challenged to take risks in their writing, while writing with a specific purpose in mind.
