Region 3 All-South Jersey Jazz Choir

LCMRHS had two singers successfully audition for the Region 3 Jazz Choir.  PIctured far left and 4th from the left, Senior Nathan Chase was selected for Tenor and Sophomore Scarlett Rue was selected for Soprano for this highly selective ensemble.  The group was directed by Ms. Christina Blankenship of Sterling HS (far right in the photo). The repertoire included jazz standards and contemporary a cappella selections.  The Jazz Choir shared the program with the All-South Jersey Middle School Jazz Band, ASJ High School Jazz Band, and the ASJ HS Jazz Combo.  Congratulations, Nathan and Scarlett!  The LCMRHS Jazz Choir will perform in the HS Schmidtchen Auditorium on May 27 at 7 pm for the annual Spring Swing Jazz Concert.  The public is welcome to attend.
