RMT Guidance Department
The mission of RMT Middle School’s counseling program is to equip our students with the essential skills needed to enhance life-long learning and social awareness. As counselors, we encourage students to develop interpersonal skills while preparing for a successful transition through high school. Our students are provided opportunities to explore the relationships of academics to the world of work and to the community. Counseling services are available to all students through individual, small group, and classroom guidance.
Tips to help your child be successful in middle school.
Homework club is available Monday & Wednesdays from 3:05 PM - 4:00 PM. We strongly encourage our students to attend as often as possible. It is a quiet place you can go to complete your homework with a teacher available in case you have questions.
Math help is available Tuesday from 3:05 PM - 4:00 PM. Anyone struggling in math is urged to attend.
Powerschool-We strongly encourage you to utilize powerschool to monitor your child's grades. You can access up to date information on their overall grade as well as a detailed list of assignments. Please call the guidance office if you do not know your login information.
Parent conferences are available on an as needed basis during the school day, please contact your child's guidance counselor in order to schedule. 884-3475 ext. 274
